Amendment to the “Refrigerant Law”. Changes in the Central Register of Operators
If your company has been using following refrigeration units of following brands and types:
Thermo King:
- trailer units of SMX/SB/SL/SLe/SLX/SLXe/SLXi series
- truck units of MD/CD/KD/TS/ UT/T series,
- engine driven units of V-200/300/500/600/800 series, installed on the vehicles of gross vehicle mass > 3,5t,
Frigoblock: all units,
this information is addressed to you.
Effective on Ferbuary 1st 2018 Central Register of Operators (CRO) has been adapter to the requirements of the Law of the Substances Depleting the Ozone Layer and of Some Fluorised Greenhouse Gases (Dz. U. z 2017 r. poz. 1951) and the Decree of the Environment Minister concerning the Central Register of Operators (Dz. U. z 2017 r. poz. 2419.).
According to the current law, August 1st 2018 marks the deadline for the registration of the Equipment Cards with the CRO – for the refrigeration units already in use.
The Operators are thus obliged to keep the register of the service activities performed up to date – e.g. with regard to the control of tightness of the system (at least once in a year from the date of the last control).
In case of any doubts or queries – whether your unit is subject to the new requirements – or if you wish to control the tightness of the refrigerant circuit, our service crew stays at your disposal.
