„City of Future” – IAA show in Hannover
This year’s September saw yet another IAA Commercial vehicles show in Hannover (Germany). Thermo King and Frigoblock presented a line of the innovative technical solutions, based on the electric energy and data transmission.
THERMOTOPIA – it’s an innovative concept of a City of Future, in which the refrigerated transport is performer with a reduced emission of exhaust fumes, elimination of the excessive noise and ensuring more comfort for the residents, making no damage to the high quality and parameters of the transported goods.
It’s a philosophy, which helps the transport companies to keep the sustainability. „The offer from Thermo King and Frigoblock has been developed for the transport companies which aim at the further expansion of their investments, also by fulfilling the regulation requirements, by optimising the fleet operations and, ultimately, cutting down on overall operational cost” – said Pauli Johannsen, vice-President and General Director of Truck, Trailer and Bus Thermo King division (EMEA).
At the IAA show new, well proven and reliable solutions and technologies have been presented:
- A new, electric, battery-fed B-100 ECO unit for electric vehicles
- A new, fully electric E-200 unit for vans up to 3,5 tons
- Upgraded SLXi trailer units, equipped with low emission, GreenTech™ certified, NRMM Stage V engines, fulfilling most restrictive norms and standards
- A new T-560R with own engine
- A new, low-profile Prisma S-4.2 evaporator with bilateral supply air outlet, for multitemperature units of T and SLXi series
- New TracKing communication and telematics services
- New 24V Thermo Lite solar panels
All these proposals and solutions make the future of the refrigerated transport. Thermo King and Frigoblock consistently support the „Environment Friendly” philosophy, working on increasing the energy efficience of their products and further reduction of the greenhouse gases emission.
