New vision of refrigerated transport – SLXi unit

At this year's IAA fair in Hanover THERMO KING presented the new SLXi trailer refrigeration unit – its goal is to initiate entering personalised solutions which will evolve until a final product has been achieved. While developing SLXi, we used the largest practical tests programme in history. Not only did we involve our team of engineers, but also our dealership network and, most importantly, the users of the equipment. Our goal was to optimise the system according to emerging market needs.

SLXi means balance between extremely precise temperature control and fuel economy. It enables individual adjustment of performance and the work specification of the unit to given load. Complex telematics enable the user of SLXi products to have full control over the load and the unit itself – the customers can choose a solution which will be the most effective in their business.

New SLXi refrigeration units will be available in the market in 2017.
