Urban buses and coaches

ATHENIA is the main line of the Thermo King bus & coach HVAC units. It is featured by unified dimensions of all units, irrespective of their parameters. All Athenia units have the same length and height – being available in two width versions, which comes as a great advantage in terms of installation of the units on buses made for customers from various climatic zones. The cooling capacity of the Athenia units ranges from 18 up to 45 kW.

Major advantage of Athenia products is their ability to adjust to the roof curve (thanks to movable lateral elements) and possibility of 100% fresh air intake.

Two additional versions are Athenia D, the first unit in the market to feature the driver’s and passengers’ space air conditioning systems in a single housing, and Athenia E – with an integrated electric compressor, intended for trolleybuses, electric and hybrid buses (more in the “electric buses” section).

Another option is a multi-purpose, light-weight and very efficient X900 air conditioning unit.
